Growing Food and Sustainability is looking for two fall interns to help us integrate our gardens into school curriculum and student projects this fall semester!
Intern responsibilities may include: helping to plan garden and farm-based lesson plans for high school students, mentoring individual students with research projects, maintaining the garden and youth farm (weeding, watering, harvesting, washing produce, seeding cover crops, and general fall garden clean-up), helping to lead the high school Ecology Clubs, and more!
Weekly commitments range from 5-10 hours per week. Internships are unpaid, but we can work with you to receive class credit or to find funding for your internship through the University.
